Warriors Karate Club counts with instructors that are certified in Karate and Self Defense for more than 10 years. They both have passion for teaching and helping others. Our instructors will do whatever it takes for you to enjoy the class, learn and give you a sense of community and trust. 

 

Sensei Patricia and Sensei Estefania, currently train every day to offer their clients and kids the most recent techniques, knowledge and to be a good example for their athletes.

Patricia was born on May 18, 1986 in the city of Barquisimeto, Venezuela. At the age of 2, her family moved to a small town in the outskirts of Caracas. Later on, as early as 6 years old, she initiated in the Martial Arts, in a small but renowned Karate Shotokan Dojo, Ishiyama Los Castores (ASVEKAT) She was trained by the great Master, Katsuya Ishiyama, who currently is 9 degree Black Belt, and one of the pioneers of Karate Shotokan in Venezuela. Years later, in 2004 she obtained her first Degree Black Belt, in 2009 she obtained her 2nd Black Belt Degree and in 2017 she obtained her 3er Degree Black Belt with WSKF in Orlando, Florida.

 

She belonged to the Japan Karate Association (JKA) for more than 8 years, then transitioned to the International Traditional Karate Federation (ITKF) organization for about 13 years, where she had the opportunity to train with great Karate Masters such as Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama, Sensei Shirai, among others.

 

Patricia was National Champion (Venezuela) more than 15 consecutive times, both in Kata and Kumite. Additionally, she was part of the Venezuelan National Team, where she was South American Champion in 2003, 2005, 2009 and 2011 and 18 times international medalist. Also, she has been Coach and Instructor for more than 10 years. In 2014, she relocated to another town on the East side of Venezuela where trained with the World Shotokan Karate Federation (WSKF) with Sensei Alexandra Marquez and Sensei Fouad Korban.

 

Furthermore, in 2010, Patricia begins training Krav Maga, which is an Israeli self-defense system based on military training. She obtained her G1 degree and her certification of instructor in 2014 in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina with Krav Maga Global. Later, she began teaching self-defense classes for adults in the city of Caracas and Lecheria, Venezuela.

Estefania was born and raised in a small city called Lecheria in Venezuela. Since she was 4 years old she started doing sports. Gymnastics was the first discipline she was in.

Then she started swimming until she turned 9 and her passion for soccer began. When Estefania was 11 years old she heard someone going to Japan to compete and represent Venezuela. She started karate with the only idea of one-day represent her country. According to Estefania, day-by-day karate changed

from being a sport to be a discipline and a way of life, her passion. She is now part of the World Shotokan Karate Federation in Venezuela.

 

Sensei Alexandra Marquez, was the person that guided, formed, coach and trained her all this years. Also, Sensei Fouad Korban who is the Venezuelan Chief Instructor contributes very much in Estefania’s formation as a martial artist and as a person. After many years of training in 2013 she reached her black belt (1dan) and in 2015 she got her 2nd Dan this Dan examination was made by our Worldwide Chief Instructor from Japan Sensei Kasuya.

 

Furthermore, in 2015, Estefania begins to train Krav Maga, which is an Israeli self-defense system based on military training. She obtained her P2 degree she began teaching self-defense classes for adults in the city of Caracas and Lecheria, Venezuela.

 

She studied elementary, middle and high school in a private distinguished school in Venezuela called Don Bosco. Then she went to Santa Barbara, CA where she improved her English and also studied two years Athletic Training in Santa Barbara City College. Currently she is in North Carolina studying Health

and Fitness Science at Wake Tech; and she still training Crossfit and Karate every day. She is currently 9 times Karate World Champion.
